Job Description

To fill the position of Senior Solution Architect, we are looking for highly driven individuals with exemplary technical and communication abilities as well as strong expertise with the SAP S/4 platform.


  • Experience implementing SAP before is necessary, and experience with mergers and divestitures is desired.
  • For at least ten (2) complete life-cycle implementations, including all phases, in the lead solution architect role (blueprint, configuration, training, cut-over and post go-live support).
  • Relevant SAP S/4 experience (not just ECC).
  • Excellent understanding of the application's integration layer and process flow, for instance SAP S/4, ECC, SuccessFactors, COUPA, CONCUR, ARIBA, etc.

Business Knowledge

  • Business knowledge and expertise in process design.
  • Good familiarity with the commercial procedures involved in the distribution and transmission of gas and electricity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The task of the solution architect is to connect business issues with technological solutions. By thoroughly researching and analyzing the business, functional, and technical requirements, they assist in determining the optimal solution among all options to resolve the current business problems. To client stakeholders, Delivery Leadership, and the project team, they outline the solution's structure, traits, behaviors, and other features.
  • The solution architect is in charge of supporting the technological and business needs for a merger and/or divestiture. With the client's end state and cost-effective technology in mind, he ought to be able to advise them. He should be able to participate in senior stakeholder meetings to discuss the requirements for a business merger or acquisition process and why they are necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee a solution architecture to solve particular issues and needs, typically by utilizing technical, business process, and/or sector expertise.
  • Maintain communication with important stakeholders to plan solutions.
  • Act as a technical and process integration liaison to other Implementation workstreams. Refine end-to-end business process scenarios with the help of functional and solution leaders to verify the integration of different process areas.
  • Especially where there is a high level of integration, suggest solutions and assist in resolving substantial process and technical build challenges within and across process teams.
  • Provide process governance, business process and SAP experience.
  • Own the overall solution's integrity throughout the long run.
  • Possibility of estimating and providing ROM or in-depth estimations for a range of prospective solutions, working with the Financial Management team to formally cost these options.
  • Ability to use prior knowledge to help lead the team while providing delivery assistance to in-flight projects and assisting in resolving open risks and concerns.
  • Provide complete lifecycle project implementation consulting experience to customers, including assessments, drafting, building, testing, and stabilizing go-live.
  • In order to analyze the business requirements of clients, prepare and lead assessment or blueprint workshops. The consultant must be able to translate the business justifications for using features into SAP best business practices.
  • To win the approval of the client, create presentations at the summary level and lead workshops on future state system design and process.
  • Perform in contexts where strong interpersonal communication skills are required, such as cross-functional teams. Teams may be geographically varied or include additional implementation consulting partners in specific circumstances.
  • Take on internal accountability for the timely and successful execution.

IT Knowledge

  • Should have good understanding of SAP Best Practices.
  • Past configuration and customizing experience as per the best practice of SAP, with SAP S/4 experience preferred.
  • Should have knowledge of RICEFW’s - working knowledge on creation and the use of tools like LSMW's.
  • Business Process Integration with PS, MM, SD, HCM, RTR modules.
  • Expertise in implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
  • Knowledge of SAP project management methodology.
  • Experience / Certification in SAP S4 is beneficial.
  • Experience in leading design teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of IT architecture in the SAP context.
  • Several years of professional experience as an SAP solution architect (SAP-HANA, SAP-ERP, ABAP platform, SAP-HANA).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to learn independently and have enthusiasm to teach others in a technical and organizational topic.
  • Demonstrate leadership in general: ability to identify priorities, be decisive, ability to lead strategic topics on a global basis, convince others.
